1. Bezalel also made the Ark from acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
2. He overlaid it with pure gold inside and out, and made a crown of gold for it all around.
3. He cast four golden rings for it, in the four feet, two rings on the one side, and two on the other.
4. He also made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
5. Then he put the poles into the rings on the sides of the Ark, to carry the Ark.
6. He made an atonement cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide.
7. Then he forged two cheruvim of gold, from hammered work, at the two ends of the atonement cover,
8. one cheruv at one end, and one cheruv at the other. He made the atonement cover from a single piece with the cheruvim on the two ends.
