1. Now it happened after this that the Moabites and the Ammonites together with other Ammonites came to make war against Jehoshaphat.
2. Some came and reported to Jehoshaphat saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Aram, and are already in Hazazon-Tamar” (that is En-Gedi).
3. Jehoshaphat was afraid so he resolved to seek Adonai, and he proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
4. Judah assembled to seek help from Adonai; indeed, they came from all the cities of Judah to seek Adonai.
5. Then Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem in the House of Adonai in front of the new courtyard
