32. In the second year of Peqaḥ son of Remalyahu, sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, Yotham son of Uzziyahu, sovereign of Yehuḏah, began to reign.
33. He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Yerushalayim. And his mother’s name was Yerusha the daughter of Tsaḏoq.
34. And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה. He did according to all that his father Uzziyahu did.
35. However, the high places were not taken away. The people still slaughtered and burned incense on the high places. He built the Upper Gate of the House of יהוה.
36. And the rest of the acts of Yotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the sovereigns of Yehuḏah?
37. In those days יהוה began to send Retsin sovereign of Aram and Peqaḥ son of Remalyahu against Yehuḏah.
38. So Yotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of Dawiḏ his father. And Aḥaz his son reigned in his place.
